the name Aaralyn showed up for babies in the USA for the first time in 2003. It was probably introduced by the Christian singer Aaralyn (born Amanda Williams) who claims this name means "with song." I can't find any etymology or language to back that up, though. Most likely this is a modern coinage based on names like Marilyn and Carolyn and possibly the words "air" (as in song) or "aria."
