Aaron
- It's traditional, biblical, a little over-common maybe, but it has so much appeal in and of itself that you really can overlook that. I really adore this name, and it has no annoying nicknames, stands on its own, and has a good, strong history behind it. (Aaron of the bible was the first high priest)
- a strong and classic Biblical name that always seems to be lurking in the background.
- I've kind of been creating a parallel universe since I was little, and Aaron is the name of my favourite 'character'. I adore it. Note that due to my
accent I pronounce it with a short 'a' (like in apple).
- I'm not sure why, but this name struck me as perfect for a my future son. I've always loved this name.
- Aaron is also common but I like it only for a boy. I think it sounds masculine
Aaron is such an ancient name, its meaning has been lost. It is commonly thought of as the anglicization of the Hebrew Aharon, meaning "mountain of strength." It probably comes from an older Egyptian name.
