• (ah-lahn-ah) This is my sister's middle name. She was named for our dad, Thomas Allan. It accompanies so many names so well. 
• (uh-LAH-nuh) I really love the way Alana sounds (a-la-nuh), i think it's very beautiful and it even sounds exotic to me.
