Not that unusal but it's a very pretty name. I love it's shorten form Alex. It remeinds me a very sporty or active child.
Alexandria Lynae: I really enjoy Alexandria because it is such a powerful femal name and there are so many nickname options(Allie,Lexie,Drea, etc...) and Lynae is good because it is a combo between my mom's middle name (Mae) and my hubbys mom's middle name (Lynn). Could get much better than that!
Alexandria is a feminine form of Alexander, which means "defender of men." There were many cities named Alexandria, named by Alexander the Great after he conquered them. Alexandria in Egypt is probably the most famous of these. Alexandra is another, more common feminine form of Alexander.
