• My dad was supposed ot be named this. Allan seems like a guy that everyone would like, just a round, lyrical sound. I also like it spelled Alun, but there's enough trouble keeping Alan, Allan, and Allen straight.
• I love this spelling because it's the Gaelic spelling. We're part Irish and we love the fact that the name is Irish also. It's very manly to me.
