( an- EES- ah)- A variation on Anissa. I can never tell if Anissa is with a long "e" or short "i" sound, and it usually depends on the person. I feel spelling it this way helps alleviate the pronunciation error. I happen to have a lot of Anne/Anns in my family and this is a great alternative.
