Aragon's most famous bearer was probably Catherine of Aragon, the youngest daughter of Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain. She married Henry VII of England, who founded the Church of England in order to divorce her. Aragon is a current place in northeastern Spain, although the region, in medieval times, was an autonomous kingdom.
