Aramis

(Pronounced a-RAH-miss.) I was looking for baby names, and this one really caught my eye.

Aramis is a literary name coined by Alexandre Dumas for his 1844 novel the Three Musketeers. The character's real name is René d'Herblay, but he is called Aramis. The name comes from Henri d'Aramitz, the historical musketeer that Aramis was based on. The name comes from the place name Aramits in France.
