Arturus
This is the latin version of Arthur. I really love how unusual this name is. I love the sound of Arturus and Arcturus. I love the history behind this name. The fact that Arturus and Arthur might be connected to the constellation Arcturus since they have similar meanings. I love stargazing. Looking out at the cosmos I feel connected to the entire universe. So I love star names. Also Arthur was the name of my partners only grandparent whom he was close to. Arthur died recently of cancer which devastated my partner. So when we have a child we'd like to honor him. If we only have daughters, we will name one of them Artemis.
This is the Latin version of the name Arthur. It was probably not used much as a name, it was used to record the history of King Arthur-- in medieval times many records were kept and books written in Latin since that was the language of scholars.
