Aslan

Not only do I like the Chronicles of Narnia, but Aslan is an actual word, Turkish for "lion", sometimes used as a name. I have heard it pronounced AZ-lan and OZ-lan. I just think it sounds cool, either way.

In Turkish, Aslan means "lion." C.S. Lewis used the name for his thinly-veiled Christ figure who is a lion in his 1950 novel The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.
