Austen
- Tribute to Jane Austen; I don't think a boy would like being named for a woman, and besides there are too many little boys named Austin. The "en" makes it more feminine.
- Austen Liana: I like Austen because it sounds better as a girls name rather than as a guy, and Liana is pretty.
Austen, probably as a tribute to English author Jane Austen (1775-1817), has been in use as a girls' name since 1980. See Austin (girl) and Austin (boy) for more info.
