Bartimaeus

As long as you avoid the nickname Bart, this name is uber-neat.  I just like the sound and the way it looks on paper.

In the New Testament, Bartimaeus is one of the few named people to be cured by Jesus (he is cured of blindness). This curious Greek-Hebrew hybrid name means "son of Timaeus," from the Greek Timaeus meaning "honor" and the Hebrew prefix "bar" meaning "son of."
