Bonner

Bonner Douglas: the 1st name is my Irish grandmother's maiden name and i quite like it as a name in it's own right. the mn is the name of a close family friend and it just sounds perfect with the 1st name !

Bonner has a few different origins depending on where it came from. It can be an anglicization of the Irish surname from Ó Cnáimhsighe, which is derived from the word cnámh meaning "bone." Bonner can also an English and Scottish surname derived from Norman French de bonne aire meaning "handsome" or "having good manners." It can also be an anglicization of the Welsh patronymic ap Ynyr, meaning "son of Ynyr," the Welsh form of the Latin name Honorius meaning "honor."
