Briana Kathleen>: It is fairly uncommon, Because its usually spelled like this Brianna it is pronounced ( Bree-Anna) And it is my favorite name Because my Mom picked it out for my Daughter when she was born and I chose Kathleen because its my Mom's name.
This name was possibly coined by the English poet Edmund Spenser for his epic poem "The Faerie Queene" in 1590. He pronounced it /BREE uh na/. In regular circulation, however, the name wasn't used until the 20th century.
