I absolutely love this name. I found it while I was reading a book and it is so unique. I have never meet anyone named this. I want to name my little girl this, but my husband will not agree to it.
Bristol is the name of a place in England, it means "the site of the bridge." In recent times it has become more popular for girls, probably owing to Bristol Palin, daughter of Alaska governor and former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Palin was named after Bristol Bay in Alaska.
