Alyssa has always been a favorite, but like Julia, too common. My boyfriend's alma mater is Cal Berkeley. He's majorly into his school, so I put 2 and 2 together and got Calyssa. (CAL + Alyssa). It's a very sweet sounding name. It's almost mystical sounding, sounding so much like Calypso.
