Caoimhe
- Is my initiate Druidry name, but that's beside the point. In Ireland, though, it's typically KWEE-vah, so becareful if you've got Irish inlaws and don't expect that. It's really a very musical sound, though she'll forever be spelling it for people, and Caoi (KEE or KWEE) is a nice nickname.
- One of my other favourites. Pronounced KEE-vuh, it's one of those true Gaelic names.
Caoimhe is an Irish name, pronounced something like /KEE v'yeh/ or /KWEEV'yeh/. aIt is often anglicized Keavy or sometimes Keava. It is derived from the Irish word caomh meaning "beauty; grace."
