Carina

• It's easy to say, has two fine nicknames (Cara and Carrie), and has a lovely meaning: "dear little one".

In Latin, carina means "keel," and is a constellation in the southern hemisphere. In modern usage, though, the name Carina is probably an elaboration of Cara (see also).
