It's my name and my family doesn't pronounce the first "r". My mom isn't around so I don't know where she got it from, but I got a little bit of teasing in school from it, but I always loved it because I was the only one. It also always sparked some kind of conversation, most people would ask where it came form or what it meant and when I would explain that I didn't know they would inevitably give me there thought. "You know it sounds like it could be spanish" I had one person suggest that my mom really loved Caramello candy bars. My nickname has always been Camie.
