Clark
- I named my son Clark Edwin when he was born 2 1/2 years ago and I still love his name. Every time I hear another Michael or something I can't
pronounce, I think about how much I like his name. Everyone can pronounce it, and won't it look great in the symphony program or on a letterhead?
- Clark Ansel & Gable Allon - my favorite boy twin names, named after the wonderfully handsome and talented actor Clark Gable...and I think they're perfect for twin names. Ansel is named after a photographer, my grandfather has one of his photos on the wall and I fell in love with the name. Allon is an ineteresting way to spell the simple name of Alan.
Clark was originally an English surname denoting a clerk or cleric. As a first name its popularity in the 20th century may have been influenced by American actor Clark Gable (born William Clark Gable 1901-1960) as well as Clark Kent, the alter-ego of Superman.
