• I love this name because it works at any age. I also like the trend of surnames as first names on boys.
• Cute and not used too often.
• simply because I think it's cute. It's also pretty uncommon which is a plus in my book.
• My husband and I fell in love with Cooperstown, New York, so considered this name for a boy. We ultimately decided against it becaus of the "pooper" rhyming potential. But it is still a FANTASTIC, sharp name for a boy -- assuming he can make it safely through his school years! If I were braver, I would name my son Cooper!

I knew someone with the last name Cooper, and he spent most of his childhood being called "Pooper Scooper," or in extreme cases, "Super Dooper Pooper Scooper." But don't let this discourage you from using the name!
