• This name has always had an evil, gothic edge to it, mostly because of the movie, but that's what makes it such a great name. It's sinister with just a little bit of cuteness mixed in.

  Ever since I first saw the movie "The Omen", I have been obsessed with that name. You shouldn't just think of an evil little boy. It's such a waste for such a beautiful name. Yamane is the name of a pastor in Ethiopia. I stayed with him when I went on a missions trip and he is just a wonderful man.

English form of the Greek Damianos, which may be from a word meaning "to tame." This name has been associated with evil since the 70s where Damian was the name of the possessed child in "The Omen," as well as being the name of the priest in the film "The Exorcist."
