Deja
- (day ja) While this is becoming more common, I think it is still a very pretty name.
- This is my other favorite name because once again it is very unique and every child is unique so it fits.
- I think this name has sort of and exotic feel, and it also sound pretty but powerful. I would be afraid that the child would me mocked with deja vue though.
- Deja or Daisia (Day-shuh) I think this name is so beautiful, but my husband fears our child would be teased and called Deja Vu. You really do have to think about things like that when naming your child.
Deja comes from the French phrase déjà vu, which means "already seen," and describes a feeling that a new situation has already happened, or that you feel like you have been somewhere before where you know you have never been. Deja became used as a name in the mid-20th century. Its use as a name could be influenced by the Steely Dan album "Aja" which rhymes with Deja.
