Draygan
I actually only have one favorite name, but my husband will most likely never let me use it (he's not big on unusual names like I am), so maybe someone else can use it:DRAYGAN or Draygen or Draygin- Pronounced: DRAY-gan (pretty much how its spelled)
I kinda made up this name, but fell in love with it. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and although I love the name Draco (pronounced Dray-co, in case you aren't familiar), which means dragon, I always thought it would be a little weird to obviously name a child after a HP character. I also have a soft spot for dragons because they remind me of my brother, who has always collected them and drawn them, but thought naming a child Dragon (or even a different spelling, same pronunciation) would be just asking for the kid to be made fun of. I think Draygan is a happy medium. I kind of came up with it because I am also a reader of Harry Potter fanfiction, and many times FF authors will give the character Draco the nickname Dray, so its a cross between Draco and Dragon. I like that it's unusual, but pronounceable just by seeing it written. I have an unusual name and although I love that there are very few people with my name, it gets tiresome explaining how to say it. Especially in school when they'd check attendance in alphabetical order, and in the spot where your name should be called, all you get is confused silence and then a feeble attempt to say it. haha, but anywho, I think the name is kind of unisex, but it's mostly for a boy.
