• Very nice, strong name. Plus Eddie is a really awesome nickname.
• Ever since I've read "A Widow for One Year" by John Irving I'm in love with the name Edward. I'm even starting to like the nickname Eddie. I think it's a great name, it's not popular and it sounds nice.
• It is just a really cool traditional name. It can also be derived into many different names e.g Ed, Ted, Eddie etc....
