Eressea

(air-uh-SAY-uh) This is from one of the Elvish songs in Lord of the Rings, I have no idea what it means, if it's a place or a person or what. I saw it on the message board and decided to look it up. It should have an umlaut (two dots) over the third "e." Anyway, it's very pretty and feminine and makes a nice middle name.

in J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings series, Tol Eressëa is a paradise island for elves. In the Elvish tongue Tolkien created for the series, Tol Eressëa means "lonely island."
