Essien
(ESS-ee-yen) Nigerian, meaning "belongs to everyone." This has a lovely flowing rhythmic sound. It reminds me of the French version of Stephen, Etienne, but without that pesky "t" sound cutting things off in the middle. What a groovy sort of transcendentalist meaning, too!
