Ethan

• another name I've always loved, although it's getting pretty popular. I had a crush on a boy named Ethan in middle school and I think the name just stuck with me.
• is my favourite boys name it sound manly but still has a softness to it.
• strong and soft at the same time - like a warrior - beautiful and precious
• The perfect name. Not overused, beautiful but masculine, looks nice, sounds nice, could fit a football player or a Supreme Court judge.

• old fashioned name yet very classic.
• I'm not sure if this is a Biblical name, but it does remind me of the Isreali name Eitan... But I prefer Ethan
• Ethan Brody: i love the soap opera "passions" that is where ethan comes from. and brody was the last name of a guy on "baywatch"
• Ethan David: Is such a sweet name.  Ethan is popular, but not overly so, and David is  a strong name to go with it.  It is biblical, and Ethan is a man like King David, I think the names go beautifully together. Brings to mind a sweet boy with a ready smile and a heart for God.
• Ethan Raine: the name Ethan is from a list that i was looking through 3 years ago and it just stuck. Raine is for a singer that i love. and because i love rain showers
• Ethan Knightley : Ethan is from Ethan Frome.  It's easily pronounced and not strange, but not too common either. Knightley is from Jane Austen's Emma. I think it makes the name Ethan sound stronger - more masculine.  

A minor biblical character, Ethan comes from Hebrew meaning, "firm; strong; solid."
