Ewan

Ewan (also found as Euan and Ewen) is an anglicization of the Gaelic name Eoghan, which means "born of the yew." Eoghan is used in both Irish and Scottish Gaelic with slightly different pronunciations. However, in Ireland, Owen was sometimes used as an anglicization for Eoghan, though more often Eoghan was found Eugene. Ewan/Euan/Ewen is an anglicization associated strongly with Scotland.
