Fallon is an Irish surname derived from the name Fallamhan, which means "leader," derived from follamhnas meaning "supremacy." As a first name it first came to public attention through the character Fallon Carrington Colby on the 1980s television drama Dynasty (and later its spin-off, The Colbys).
