Felix

Felix was originally a nickname for someone in Roman times who was lucky or successful (the same root as "felicity" and "felicitations"). One of its most famous modern bearers is the cartoon character from the 30s named Felix The Cat. It is because of this that the name is associated with the word "feline" and often thought of as relating to cats. The name was common among early Christians and is the name of several early saints.
