This name is popular in Germany and Austria, however in the USA, they would probably call Child Services on you for naming a little boy this! Yes, it's a little feminine, and a little flowery and wimpy sounding, but I love it. One of the guys in Kraftwerk is named Florian, and St. Florian is the patron of fire prevention as well. Neither of these namesakes are particularly wimpy!
