Gary

• My son's first name.  I love this name!  The name Gary reminds me of a sports star, or of someone who works with their hands and comes home and gives good hugs.  Gary is a nice short name, easy to spell, with no freaky additional spellings.. and it's just plain and simply a boy's name.  I doubt "Gary" will be one of those names that slowly becomes a girl's name.
• One of the many names about spears. This is amazingly unusual considering its familiarity to us all. Gary Cooper could be a nice example, I suppose--classy and understated. Gary Gilmore--NOPE!
