• I think George Clooney brought this name back to life...he wears it so well.  My Grandfather bears this name and so when I hear the name George I relate it to strength, respect, spirited and patient.  
• As both my father’s name and the male form of my own name, Georgia, I am especially attracted to George. It has a very sophisticated air to it, one that I admire.
• George has been around forever, and now it sounds almost contemporary.
• George Frederick: Sounds like German nobility. Make George into Georg (think of Christopher Plummer in The Sound of Music) and it's even more fun.
