Guinevere

• I'm a huge fan of Arthurian legend and I love the nickname Gwen (I also love Gwendolen).
• I always loved the legend of King Arthur, and the Lady Guinevere was one of my favorites. And the name is strong, but soft at the same time.
• The Arthurian legend facinates me, and I think that Guinevere is such a magical, elegant and beautiful name. Jennifer is actually an alternate form of it.
• a classic name. Gwen is an adorable nickname!
• Guinevere Catherine: this is a great combo because it is old fashioned and because Catherine The Great sister was named Guinivere

This is an anglicized spelling of the Welsh name Gwynhwyfar, which is made from elements meaning "fair; blessed; white" and "skin." in Arthurian legend, Guinevere was King Arthur's wife. The Cornish form, which is now popular throughout the English-speaking world is Jennifer.
