Hadassah
- (Huh-DASS-uh) Hadassa is the Hebrew form of Esther, and I think it has a much more lovely sound and romantic feel.
Hadassah Ethne - I first heard of Hadassah when I met a girl with that name and I loved it ever since. It's unusual but very pretty. I don't really like nicknames, but I found the nickname "Lovie" and have decided to use it for Hadassah - I know, it doesn't really make sense). Ethne is a version of a mythological name and I found it while watching Four Feathers (it was Kate Hudson's name).
In Hebrew, Hadassah means "myrtle." It was Queen Esther's Hebrew name in the Old Testament.
