Hyacinth

This is a name of a flower and sounds so pretty. It's beautiful!

Hyacinth is the name of a fragrant spring flower of the genus hyacinthus. It was named for the Greek hero Hycinthus, a champion discus thrower whom the god Apollo favored. Hyacinthus was eventually struck by a discus and died, but instead of sending him to Hades, Apollo made the hyacinth flower bloom from where Hyacinthus' blood touched the ground. The name comes from pre-Hellenic origins and nobody is exactly sure what it means.
