Jeb

I knew a baby Jebby once--cutest boy ever. It's short, but fresh. J names are so popular that I'm sure it would fit in. Probably won't use it because my husband does not agree. He never knew baby Jebby.

Jeb was first used as a nickname by James Ewell Brown Stuart (1833-1864) a Confederate Civil War General whose initials spelled J.E.B. It has since been given to babies, sometimes short for Jebediah, a name that was totally invented to accommodate the nickname Jeb (the actual biblical name is Jedidiah).
