• this is such a sweet name. It is not as popular as Jennifer, which I do like but is just way too common. Jenna also conveys such energy and warmth to me. This is also the name of my little sister and one of my favorite babysitting charges so I have very positive associations with it.
• this name is perfect, it is quite common, but not as common as Jennifer. I love it!

Jenna was originally a Cornish form of Jane, but in modern use it is probably more likely a derivitive of Jennifer. It came to popular attention in the 1980s as the name of the character Jenna Wade on the television drama Dallas.
