• Jory Alessandro:  I have met only one person named Jory, and he was very nice and unusual and good looking in an atypical way.  Just what I would want from my own child.  I also love the sound.  Alessandro would be after my husband, whose middle name, Alejandro, I love, but I don't like to duplicate exactly.  It also has that cool adrogynous, but still male thing going for it.  

Jory is a Cornish form of George. From the late 20th century on, it was occasionally used as a diminutive of Jordan.
