Julian
- I think Julian and Joseph are names that sounds masculine but also feminine. The names fondle out of the mouth and just make you happy!
- I used this name for a story once - called "Ramona and Julian" - and I think it's very pretty, yet strong and melodic
- After one of my favourite actors, Julian Rhind-Tutt. I really like the long "Ju" at the start, and it reminds me of jewells.
- Julian is the most elite and upper-class-sounding name I know of, which is why I love it so much and it’s my favourite. A name such as Julian invokes an image of honour and respect, virtues that are very important to myself and my family. Not only is it my husband’s name, but my ten-year-old son carries it on as well, as Julian Wilson Mercer IV.
- I don't think I know 1 boy named Julian. I love that name!
- I do not like Julien., only Julian. I don't even like Julianne for a girl. Julian for a boy has a strong sound to me, and I really like it. Julian would probably be a creative child, maybe a writer or an artist.
- I'm not sure why, I have just always loved the name Julian. (I pronounce it Jul-ain)
- It's from a book. It means youthful and I will always consider myself young at heart and hope many other people do too.
- Julian/Jules Andrew: I like this name, because it is a tough, but sincere looking name.
- Julian Cole: Julian cause I love it, Cole is a family name and I like JC as a nn
Julian is an English form of Julien, a French name based on the Roman name Julianus. Julianus is a form of Julius, which may come from Greek words meaning "downy bearded," perhaps implying youthfulness.
