Juno

In Roman mythology, Juno was the queen of the gods (roughly equivalent to the Greek Hera). She was the goddess of marriage, and presided over the finances of the Roman empire as well. The month of June is named for her. The name Juno may come from a Proto Indo-European root meaning "youth." In Ireland, the name Juno was often used to "translate" the native name Úna.
