Kaimanawa

The name of the wild horses of new zealand, this is gorgeous! I'm guessing it has Maori origins, it could be shortened to Kaima, or Kai, but I think its sooo pretty.

In New Zealand, The Kaimanawa Range is a mountain range on the northern island. It is also the name given to a herd of feral horses that are the descendents of domestic horses released by settlers in the 18th & 19th centuries.
