(pronounced: Kay-luhd; like Kayla with a soft 'd', ) the 'd' at the end makes the popular girls name 'Kayla' masculine, and definitely not popular. I actually came up with this when I met a girl at work named Kayla, only her nametag read: "Kayla D". The way it was written made me think it said "Kaylad". I thought it was an awesome name, only I like it better for a boy.
