this is my name, but I like it on its own, it means pure and beloved, its a name that grows with the child...its easy to see a little baby karen and also grown up Karen. its simple but not plain and there are soo many variations in spelling possible (i.e. Karinne, Caryn, Karran, etc) i prefer the traditional Karen (my way)
