Kate
- it's plain and simple, goes with nearly anything, and will fulfill the child throughout adulthood
- I like Kate because I love names with a "K" sound...it's "clear and crisp" sounding. Kate is also a timeless name that isn't too common just being "Kate" alone (and not a nick-name of Katherine)
- Kate/Katie: love this. I think of Kate Hepburn--another take charge kind of gal. She doesn't take crap from anyone.
- Kate Amelliahna (uh-meel-i-ahna): i made up the name amelliahna and i think it looks and sounds so cool!!
Kate was originally a medieval English diminutive of Katherine, but it is now also used for Kathleen and Katelyn.
