Keoni

I named my baby this. It means "John" in hawaiian, and is pronounced " key-own-ee". My best friend's name was John, so I named my son for him, without burdoning him with the overly common name of  'John'. I think it sounds handsome, unique, exotic, strong and sexy. I love it!

This is the Hawaiian form of John. The Hawaiian alphabet has no letter "j" and most words end with a vowel, hence John = Keoni. Another form is Ione.
