Keros

(KEE-ros or KEH-ros)- I don't know what it means, but I found it in the Bible in the book of Nehemiah, and it sounds vaguely Greek, which is a plus for me.

In Nehemiah 7:47 and Ezra 2:44, the name Keros appears as the head of the Nethinim, a family of temple slaves who returned from exile with Zerubbabel. According to different sources, it means either "ankle" or "fortress."
