Kyah

(pronounced KY-AH, with a long "i" sound, not "e" sound).  This is the name we gave our first daughter, for sentimental reasons. Long story short: when we were dating, a hostess at a restaurant mistook us for another couple. After figuring out we were not that couple she thought, she stated they had a young daughter named Kaiaya (pronounced the same as ours) and it was Indian for "with the wind". Not sure if that's accurate or not, but we both loved the name.  A few years later when we had our daughter, it's the only name we would consider.  We decided to spell it our own way to make it unique. We named her Kyah Michele...  We have never regretted it, and many people tell us how beautiful it sounds.
