Leland
I met a guy recently from Hong Kong named Leland and he's the sweetest guy I've ever met. The name was so cool and I dreamed that I named my kid Leland.
Leland is an English surname derived from elements meaning "fallow" and "land." It was popular for men in the 1920s, and has since made a slight comeback. This may be in part inspired by the main character in the film The United States of Leland (2003) or possibly the rise to fame of Leland Chapman (b. 1976) of the television show "Dog the Bounty Hunter."
